Supreme Settings Menu
CodeM Supreme Settings - A pause menu that reads and writes your real GTA settings
Codem Supreme Settings replaces the Esc screen with a full NUI interface that is wired directly into the game frontend through four patched scaleform files, so every graphics, audio, display and control option a player sees is the live value GTA itself reports and every change goes straight back into the game. On top of that sits a searchable key bindings tab that rebinds any script keybind on your server, a rebuilt map legend with 869 blip icons and per player blip hiding, a stats screen pulled from the character's own GTA stats, and eight accent themes with per player overrides. Built from the ground up by CodeM for servers that want the first screen a player sees to look like theirs.
FEATURES
- Full NUI pause menu replacing the GTA Esc screen - Resume, Map, Stats, Settings and Leave
- Live game settings read through 4 patched scaleform files - not a hardcoded list of fake toggles
- Every settings category, row, slider, cycled value and locked state comes from GTA itself
- Options changed by another script, a graphics preset or an in game event appear without a refresh
- 4 row types handled natively - options, slider, cycled and locked, each with its own hint text
- Graphics changes stage behind the game's own Apply step with a live pending counter per category
- Audio, display and control changes apply the instant the player touches them
- VRAM meter with the game's own label and percentage, moving live as texture quality changes
- Warning popups from the game are read out of the scaleform and redrawn inside the menu
- Key bindings tab listing every script keybind on the server with its resource name
- Primary and secondary key shown per action, unbound rows included
- Click a key, press a new one, Esc cancels - rebinds queue and fire once the pause menu closes
- Rebinding the same action twice replaces the earlier queued command instead of running both
- Search across action names, resource names and key names at the same time
- 361 GTA control names and a 61 entry button table for clean key labels including combinations
- Rebind safety checks on key name, resource name and command before anything is queued
- Map screen with the native GTA map underneath - panning, zooming and accuracy untouched
- Rebuilt map legend with 869 bundled blip icons matched to the real sprite and the real blip colour
- 8 configurable legend groups shipped with 142 sprite ids sorted (You, Services, Vehicles, Shops, Jobs, Activities, Properties, Locations)
- Legend search by blip name, with collapsible groups and the game's own New badge
- Click a legend row to set a waypoint, click the waypoint row to clear it
- Cycle through duplicate blips on a single legend row with a live position counter
- Per player blip hiding - hide any blip or a whole group from the legend
- Hidden blips are stored on the player's own machine and survive reconnects
- Hidden blips are reapplied every 250ms so newly created blips stay hidden
- Blips that vanish from the legend while hidden stay listed as ghost rows so they can be turned back on
- Duplicate blips sharing a sprite and colour are resolved by world coordinates before hiding
- Player position marker and active waypoint are fixed rows and can never be hidden
- Automatic fallback to the vanilla GTA legend if the patched scaleform or the legend cannot be read
- Stats screen with 7 skills straight from the character's GTA stats - Stamina, Shooting, Strength, Stealth, Flying, Driving, Lung Capacity
- Every skill carries its own explanation and a "how to raise it" line, both translatable
- 7 career totals - session time, playtime, kills, deaths, distance on foot, distance driven, distance swum
- Correct character slot picked automatically between MP0 and MP1 by highest skill total
- Empty totals are hidden, so a fresh character never sees a wall of zeros
- 8 built in accent themes - Mint, Ocean, Crimson, Violet, Gold, Ember, Ice, Mono - or any hex colour
- Every other colour in the menu is derived from that single accent value
- 2 layouts - categories as a top tab row or a numbered sidebar (default tabs)
- Sharp or rounded corners across every panel, button and row (default sharp)
- 9 menu positions for the Paused title and the main list (default fallback bottom-left)
- Menu scale 0.5 - 1.5 (default 0.85) and text scale 0.5 - 2.0 (default 1.15), tuned separately
- Server name and logo in the corner, with automatic initials fallback if no logo loads
- Optional big Paused heading, toggled off with a single config value
- Panel tab where players override layout, corners, accent, menu size, text size and background blur
- Every panel row has a Server default option that follows your config, plus a one click reset
- Panel choices are stored on the player's own machine and never sent to the server
- Background blur can be turned off entirely by the player on weak hardware
- Leave button with a confirmation dialog before the player is dropped
- /classicpause toggle handing Esc back to the original GTA pause menu, saved per player across reconnects
- Config.OnOpen and Config.OnClose client hooks for your own scripts - freeze, radio, nameplates, AFK
- Hook errors are caught and printed, they never break the menu
- Optional codem-lib integration for reference counted HUD hiding that never fights other menus
- Full cleanup on classic toggle and on resource stop - no stuck cursor, no hidden HUD
- Framework free - no ESX, QBCore, QBox or vRP dependency, works standalone on any of them
- No database, no SQL file, no tables - the only server side code is one Leave event
- 2 locales shipped, English and Turkish, 168 interface strings each, add your own by copying one JSON file
- Unknown locale codes warn once and fall back to English instead of breaking
- Every config value falls back to a documented default, so a bad config never stops the menu opening
- Defensive scaleform reader with batched calls, automatic retry at smaller batch sizes and hard timeouts
- 8 commands - /classicpause plus 7 client side diagnostics for setup and support
- Escrow ignored - config.lua, locales/*.json and web/dist/branding/* stay fully editable
- Built with React 19 and Vite, lua54, fx_version cerulean
- Full GitBook documentation with 16 pages covering install, config, every feature and troubleshooting
- Built by CodeM - Rockstar / CFX.re Verified asset creator with 8,000+ servers running CodeM scripts
